A journey through the lullaby as a musical form and expressive space, from the European lied to the Latin American repertoire, in collaboration with the distinguished Mexican soprano Rosario Dávila. The program brings together works by Brahms, Reger, Falla, and Guastavino, among others, and culminates with my own piece, Cuna, vidas y canción, in resonance with this tradition.

An exploration of contemporary chamber music through collaboration and instrumental detail. The program brings together works by Manuel M. Ponce and Heitor Villa-Lobos, among others. I collaborate with cellist Gustavo Martin in pieces such as O Canto do Cisne Negro and the renowned Cello Sonata, within a project that explores proximity, contrast, and the articulation of musical discourse in a chamber setting.

Canto de Estío brings together a selection of representative works from contemporary Mexican chamber music, centered on the cello in dialogue with piano and guitar. The program includes pieces by Julio César Oliva, Eduardo Gamboa, Samuel Zyman, Mario Ruiz Armengol, Ernesto Corona, Gerardo Tamez, Sergio Pascoe, and Gustavo Martín, offering a diverse panorama of styles and musical languages. My contribution as pianist is particularly focused on Samuel Zyman’s Sonata, a work of considerable structural and expressive scope that occupies a central place within the program. The album is shaped through close collaboration among the performers, giving rise to a musical discourse in which lyricism, rhythmic vitality, and echoes of various Mexican traditions coexist.
